How Our Network Works

Homeowner talking with a plumber beside a kitchen sink in a Aurora home

Who you talk to

You talk to an independent provider. Not a staff member of Arrestholiday Plumbing. We are a referral service, so the plumber on the line runs their own business and does their own work.

The provider you reach may be near Aurora or elsewhere in the Aurora area. Which one depends on your problem, your location and who is available.

What happens on the call

Keep it simple. Say what is wrong, where it is, and how bad it looks. The provider asks a few questions. Expect things like:

  • Is water still running?
  • Do you know where the shutoff is?
  • Which drains are backed up?
  • How old is the home and the plumbing?

Then they tell you if they can help and when they may be able to arrive. Times vary. No one can promise a clock time before they check their schedule.

Stop the water first

While you wait, shut off the main valve if a pipe is leaking. Move valuables away from the wet area. Take photos for your records. Do not pour chemicals into a blocked drain, as they can make the job harder and less safe for the person who fixes it.

What to ask a plumber

A good provider welcomes questions. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured here?
  • What do you think caused this?
  • Will you give me a written quote before starting?
  • What could change the price?
  • Is the work warranted, and what does that cover?
  • How do I stop this from happening again?

Write the answers down. Compare them if you talk to more than one provider.

You are in control

You choose whether to hire. You approve the price. You can ask for a second opinion on large jobs like sewer line repair. A referral from Arrestholiday Plumbing does not lock you in.

Costs vary by job. Get the quote in writing. A clear quote helps protect your home and your wallet.
